These terms cover websites, website care plans and extras from Zevaru Web Design, Ashland, Virginia. We keep them short and plain. If anything is unclear, write to us before you pay.

Websites and payments

Websites are a one-time payment: Starter $800, Standard $1,200, Premium $2,000. You can pay in full or in two payments. For Starter and Standard, we build your finished website first; you pay the first half when you approve it and the second half once it's live on your domain and you've checked that it works. For Premium, the first half is paid before we start and the second half when it goes live.

Payments are made by card on our payment page and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Every purchase gets an order number, which is on your receipt.

Promo codes

Promo codes give a discount on the website price of your first website only. One code per client, and they can't be combined.

Changes before launch

Before your website goes live, reasonable changes to text, photos and colors are included.

Refunds

Because you see and approve your finished website before you pay, website payments are not refundable once the work has been delivered. If we can't get your website live for a reason on our side, we refund what you paid in full.

Website Care is billed month to month. When you cancel, it stays active until the end of the month you already paid, and that month isn't refunded.

Your domain and hosting

Your web address (domain) is always yours. Its yearly renewal is paid by you to your domain company. Basic hosting for your website is included at no monthly cost.

Website Care (optional)

Website Care is $100 a month: backups, security, monitoring and up to 2 small changes a month. Website Care Plus is $180 a month: everything in Care, reasonable changes without a monthly limit, a monthly report and replies within 24 hours. The first month is free. After that, your card is charged on the same day each month. Cancel anytime by replying to any of our e-mails; your website stays online.

What counts as a small change

Updating text such as hours, phone, address or prices; replacing or adding up to 3 photos; adding or removing a service; or posting a notice such as a holiday closing or a special. Extra small changes are $35 each with Website Care and $50 each without it. A new page is $150. Redesigns, new features (booking, quotes, online store) and custom work are quoted before we start.

Business cards

Standard and Premium include 50 business cards designed to match your website. Starter clients and anyone who wants more can order 100 cards for $50. We send you the design to approve before printing, and the cards are mailed to you.

Late or failed payments

If a monthly charge fails, Stripe tries again and e-mails you to update your card. If it still can't be charged, Website Care is paused until it's paid. Your website stays online.
